I played RELAXED so supposedly more moves per level. And I found the side quests an enjoyable and sometimes hilarious break from the match 3 game play.It took me some time to really get into it but once I did, I couldn't stop playing. I finished it in 15 days and 63.5 hours of logging in daily for the daily bonus with 3 stars in all levels (only had to replay 3 levels). It took me once using a phoenix feather to revive my horse to figure out that I had to keep him healthy. My strategy: With 100+ moves left and before the last board is completed, I used them to build up resources following the matching pattern at the top. But once my resources were stable, i used them to match blue bottles that are used to get a free power-up on the left. The power-ups are key to winning levels but deciding which one to use on which board is a guessing game at best especially when you don't know what is coming on the other boards in the level. Also using gold in the casino for the slots can win some of the all-important power-ups too.I am not one for long games but this one was very addictive! Definitely hoping for a sequel!. The best I can say about this game...is that it is an okay time killer, but otherwise it gets a little irritating after awhile, way too many game mechanics, and the playfields eventually get so cluttered up that it becomes more of a chore to clear a board than being any fun. As for the horse that you choose at the beginning, may as well be able to leave it in the stable, especially after you have to collect five hundred, 500, of those damned shields to even craft one single item, and guess what? You have to craft stamina items for the aformentioned horse, so, more grindfest that just becomes irritating and you eventually lose the horse bonus for moves when it dies, unless you happen to be lucky throughout your run, or, unless you happen to have one of those increasingly difficult to get phoenix feathers, or whatever they are called. Oh, I forgot to mention that the poor animal's hunger and stamina bar decrease even when you aren't playing, Fun huh? In short, could be a good, or even great game if it weren't for the dodgy mechanics that bog it down way, way too much. As for my rating, can't really recommend it, unless you have a penchant for getting past the troubles mentioned.Addendum: Got to level 32, I have been stuck due to the board layout and insanely poor game design that makes the portal keys react like they are a legitimate match 3 or four when they line up and nothing else on the board does on top of everything else gone wrong with this waste of drive space. The only way past this I can see is to waste time grinding for gold to buy enough Bombs to nuke the level into oblivion. Yes, there are daily rewards, but I don't think they are required to beat the game - definately not on the easier setting.There's 200 levels to clear, which is twice as many as most of the match 3 games I've played and since all but the first couple levels have multiple boards to clear, there's a ton of match 3 goodness to be had! I liked the rpg elements and the dialogs with NPCs have some funny moments. I would recommend picking it up on sale, though even at full price, you get your moneys worth.
